I have never got urad dal vada perfectly until i saw my mom making it. Recently when my parents visited me , i told my mom to make vada. Urad dal vada is a popular breakfast recipe served with coconut or peanut chutney and sambar. In south India Urad dal vadas are made on all festivals and auspicious occasions.

Instructions to make Urad dal Vada:
    1. Soak urad dal for 1 hour. Drain and grind it into smooth batter. Sprinkle water when you grind. don't pour water. May be you can sprinkle 1tbsp of water. Keep this in a bowl. - - 2. Now mix chopped onion, green chilli, cumin, ginger, curry leaves and coriander leaves. Add enough salt. Keep this aside.
    1. Heat oil in medium flame. Once it hot take a small portion of batter make a round shape and put small hole in the middle drop in the hot oil. Deep fry untill it cooked properly and it change to light golden colour. - - 4. Dry excessive oil in tissue paper and have with coconut chutney and sambar.
