Passion fruit curd is a dessert topping, made from eggs, passion fruit pulp, sugar, and butter. Even though it is eaten like you would eat jam (spread on things and used as filling or topping in desserts), it is more of a custard than a jam or jelly. Then I converted that easy lime curd recipe into this Lime Curd Mousse.

The ingredients needed to make Fruit Mousse With curd:

1. Get Strawberry (crushed)
2. Get Black grapes (crushed)
3. Get Green grapes (crushed)
4. Get Kiwi (crushed)
5. Take Curd (fresh and thick/hung curd)
6. Get Sugar powder

Mix the passion fruit curd with vodka for a creamy and delicious cocktail. Fill tart shells with the passion fruit curd instead of lemon or lime curd for a tropical dessert. Passion fruit curd is the perfect topping for desserts like ice cream, panna cotta, bread pudding, meringues or pavlova. The recipe can be adapted to make other fruit curds.

Steps to make Fruit Mousse With curd:

1. Wash the fruits
2. Crush the fruits, one at a time, add sugar and keep aside.
3. In a mold, add 1 tablespoon of each of the crushed fruit, add some curd and garnish with chopped fruits. Repeat to make several potions. Deep freeze for 5-6 hours.
4. Serve chilled.

Finally, Passion Fruit Curd, and all other fruit curds, make a great topping. Fill a piping bag fitted with a round tip with lemon curd mousse and pipe it into the center of each meringue until it just mounds over the top of the nest. Place a spoonful of lemon curd over the top of each mound of mousse.
