The method of making these momos is similar to preparing the regular Veg momos. here the stuffing recipe is different as I have loosely adapted it from a nepali cookbook. But my MIL makes it using whole wheat In the mean time make the stuffing.

Instructions to make Sprouts stuffed wheat momos:
  1. Firstly prpare dough for Momos. for that in a big bowl add whaet flour, curd, salt & whater as needed & preadre dough. Not so soft not so hard kind of dough.
  2. For a stuffing in a large kadai heat 2 Tsp oil. Add green chilies, ginger & garlic saute for a while.
  3. Add mix veggies & saute for 2 mins.
  4. Add sprouted moong. and saute for a while.
  5. Add vinegar, soy sauce, black pepper powder, salt & mix well.
  6. Keep it aside. let it cool down on a room temprature. Meanwhile knead dough again.
  7. Pinch a small ball and flatten.
  8. Now dust with some wheat flour and start to roll using rolling pin. - roll to almost medium thin circle. around 4 – 5 inch in diameter.
  9. Now place a heaped tbsp of prepared stuffing in centre.
  10. Give your desired shape to momos.
  11. Now ready your steamer. grease your steamer plate with little oil.
  12. Put your pleated momos on a plate. Keep momos away from each other.
  13. Furthermore, steam momos for 10-12 minutes.
  14. Finally, serve wheat momos hot with momos sauce or red chilli chutney.
