Thinly slice the pork belly; cut all the vegetables: lotus root, stem lettuce, bamboo shoots, celery, mushrooms, and tofu, and cut the broccoli into bite-size pieces. Cut garlic, ginger, and leek into big pieces and roughly chop the coriander. Bring a pot of water to a boil with salt. The spice rub I created for this pork recipe combines a hint of brown sugar with some chili powder and other spices to make the pork's outside crust both sweet and spicy.

  2. Heat your wok and cooking oil. Fry your garlic and dry chilies first until golden brown color. Then add in lotus stem and black pepper,stir well and then add in your pork.Leave it for 5minutes.
  3. Then add half cup of water and add in all your sauces. Then leave it for about 10-15 minutes low heat and wok cover up. Keep checking to make sure it don’t get too dry.Little gravy make it taste fantastic and goes well with rice.
  4. Once done add in your chilies garnish and then ready to serve. It does taste good.And this is my first time cook this…happy try

After the pork is coated on both sides, it can be quickly grilled or broiled until just cooked through. Lotus roots are the stem of the lotus plant.
