The ingredients needed to make Mughlai Chicken halwa:
  1. Get 200 gm boneless chicken
  2. Get 1 litre milk
  3. Prepare 1 betel leaf
  4. Prepare 1 tsp kewra water
  5. Get 2 cup or to taste sugar
  6. Get 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  7. Get 3 tsp ghee
  8. Get 1 pinch Edible colour (green, orange)
  9. Prepare 1 drop edible attar / essence
Instructions to make Mughlai Chicken halwa:
  1. Wash the Heat milk in a wok and bring it to boil. Add betel leaf and boil for 1 minute.
  2. Meanwhile wash the chicken under water thrice and transfer it into the milk. Add kewra water and Let it simmer on low flame till the milk reduces to half. The betel leaf removes raw smell of chicken.
  3. Now pass the chicken from mixer 2 3 times until it is so smooth.
  4. Take another wok and add some ghee. Add mince chicken and let the ghee separate.
  5. Add sugar and chopped nuts. Divide the halwa in 3 portions and add green colour in one while orange in other portion. Keep one portion white.
  6. Grease a small bowl and layer the tricolor halwa one after other. Following orange at the base, white in the middle and green on top.
  7. Take essense in a cotton ball and put it on halwa. Cover it for a minute so that the fragrance is absorbed properly.
  8. Demould it and decorate with edible flowers and nuts.
