Steps to make African salad (Abacha):
Prepare all your ingredients
Pour hot boiling water over your Abacha and allow for 5 mins.
In a pot, put palm oil then add potash water and stir (remember not to turn off heat at this stage) until thickened
Then add ugba, dry fish and seasoning cube
Add garden eggs and Abacha and mix together.
For the kpomo, cook kpomo until soft. Then in a pan, add oil, add onions and then add grated pepper mix (tomatoes, scotch bonnet, onions, tattashe, shombo, garlic)
Add seasonings and cover and allow for 2 mins. Then add cooked kpomo and stir. Cover and allow for 5 mins
Garnish with onions, Utazi leaves, garden egg and any other thing. Serve and enjoy😋
