  21. Take 1 bay leaf
  22. Take 2 dry red chillies
Steps to make Mixed Daal Makhni:
  1. Clean all the dals.
  2. Wash and soak in water for 20 minutes.
  3. Add soaked dal in pressure cooker, add few drops of oil, turmeric pwder, salt, asafoetida and pressure cook it.
  4. Chopped onian and tomato finely.
  5. Heat ghee kadhai add cumin seeds,asafoetida, bay leaf, dry red chillies,add finely chopped onion and saute it.add garlic paste, green chillies and tomato.
  6. Add turmeric powder, salt, red chilli pwder, garam masala and cook it till tomatoes gets soft.
  7. Add cooked dal.
  8. Add cumin and coriander pwder and let it boil. (1-2boils).Add butter in dal off the flame add lemon juice and serve it hot with chapati or rice.
