  1. For kofta :- take a bowl add boiled potatoes,,grated paneer,,grated ginger,green chillies,,fresh coriander,,cornflour and mix them add salt,garam masala and red chilli powder in it. And mix all these gently and roll it into shape of a kofta.
  2. Deep fry these kofta till they turn brown and crispy.
  3. For gravy:- take a pan add 2 tsp oil in it. Now add jeera,chopped onions, chopped tomatoes,garlic,ginger and cashews in it and saute them for 8-10 mins. Till tomatoes turns soft.
  4. Now let it cool and then grind it into a puree. Now again in the same pan take a tsp of oil and add salt as per taste,2 tsp red chilli powder, 2tsp garam masala,2 tsp coriander powder and now add all the puree in it and saute for few minutes till it become thick. Now add a tsp of sugar and cream it. And saute for a minute.
  5. For roti:- simply take wheat flour and roll it into a roti and apply water on one side and stick it on a tawa.. now turn the tawa down and let it cook. Once it will be cooked apply ghee or butter.
  6. While serving add kofta in serving bowl and pour the gravy from above. Serve hot with tandoori roti or the way you like.

I have had malai kofta only once in my life time. Silly right, but somehow I tried malai kofta as well. This is a no onion no garlic version. Its similar to the cauliflower kofta curry I had posted before.
