  15. Get Pinch asafoetida
  16. Take 2-3 tbsp oil
  17. Take 1-2 tbsp Cumin seeds
  18. Prepare 1-2 bay leaves
  19. Prepare 1/2-1 tsp Kasoori methi
Steps to make Malai Mushroom:
  1. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in Kadhai on medium low flame. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida. After then add chopped onions and garlic and stir.
  2. Add bay leaves and green chillies and stir. Then Tomato paste and ginger garlic paste. Mix well.
  3. Add little bit of salt and cover the lid (should be on Low flame).
  4. Start adding all the masalas and salt too. Stir and add 1/2 cup of water. Then add chopped mushrooms.
  5. Add Kasoori methi and diced onions. Mix well.
  6. Add 1 or 2 tbsp of malai and mix. Cover it with lid for a minute on low flame and then turn off the flame.
  7. After 2-3 minutes, open the lid. Your Delicious Malai Mushrooms are ready. Drizzle little malai on sabji while serving. Serve hot with Naan, Roti or Steamed Rice.
