  1. Take a pan on medium flame and pour 10 tablespoons of cooking oil

  3. Now add ginger and garlic paste and sliced tomatoes in it and fry until the tomatoes get soft.
  4. When the tomatoes get soft, add 5 teaspoons of salt, 1 tablespoon of red chilli powder, 1 teaspoon of garam masala, 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder and 2 tablespoons of crushed coriander and fry for five minutes by adding tablespoons of water when needed.
  5. Now add 1/2 kg cube cut potatoes along with 5 to 6 pieces of dried plums and fry well for 5 minutes.
  6. After that, add half sliced green chillies and fry for 2 minutes.
  7. Now add 1 cup of water and cover the pan for five minutes to cook the potatoes.
  8. After five minutes, uncover the pan and dry the water.
  9. Now add 8 cups of water and wait for the boil.
  10. When the water starts boiling, add 5 cups of pre soaked basmati rice and mix with light hand.
  11. When the water is absorbed and the start to bubble, cover the pan on low flame and leave for 10 minutes to cook the rice.
  12. Aloo Pulao is ready to be served and enjoyed…
