Its characteristic orange-red color comes from ketchup, which makes it especially appealing to kids and. In a bowl, combine all marinade ingredients with the pork. Place the corn flour in a large bowl and toss the marinated pork chunks until liberally coated. Making sweet and sour sauce is easier than you think.

  3. Heat oil in dutch oven to 350'F.
  4. Coat the marinated pork in the cornstarch so that the pork will be crispy after frying. Fry half of the pork in the hot oil. Then remove and fry the other half.
  5. Last, heat a pan along with two tablespoons of the oil from the dutch oven. Then add onions and peppers. Sautee for until onions are translucent. Then add the pork and sauce. Mix well.
  6. Serve with scallions on top.
