  6. Prepare 10-12 garlic cloves
  7. Take 10-12 curry leaves
  8. Get 1 tsp jeera
  9. Prepare 1 tsp mustard seeds
  10. Take 5-6 black pepper
  11. Take Salt as per taste
  12. Prepare Sugar as per taste (optional)
  13. Prepare to taste Dry red chilli
  14. Take 1 tsp oil
  15. Prepare Chutney tadka
  16. Take Few drops of oil
  17. Get 5-6 curry leaves
  18. Take 1/4 tsp mustard seeds

I am sharing both the methods in this post. Making idli using rava is a breeze, we don't need to grind the rice to make the batter. The texture of the idly made using rava also turn out very soft and nice. Idli is a naturally vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and makes for one of the healthiest breakfast.

  4. Let's start Tomato khara chutney. Firstly dry roast red chili ๐ŸŒถ,till it becomes crispy, now keep it aside.
  5. In pan heat oil, add jeera, mustard seeds wait for 2-3 second, now add curry patta, garlic cloves and onion. Fry for 2 minutes.
  6. Now add tomato, black pepper, salt & sugar (optional). Fry till it becomes soft.
  7. Next let it cool down, then in grinding jar add dry roasted chilli and fried onion tomatoes. Grind it coarsely. Take out in bowl.
  8. Now for tadka take another pan, add few drops of oil, heat it. Add mustard seed let them crackle, now add curry patta and put this tadka in chutney. Your tangy khara chutney is ready. Enjoy!!!!
