  8. Allow this to cool completely and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  9. Allow the cake also to cool before decorating. Slice the cake horizontally first and spread the chocolate ganache between the two layers and on top of the cake. Sprinkle grated chocolate on top. You can keep a few cherries too.
