Sift the plain flour, Milk powder, custard powder & baking powder together. Ogura cake is something like chiffon cake but the texture is much moisture, probably is the reason of steam bake.   4. Take 1/3 portion of meringue to mix well with Egg yolk mixture. Then fold in the rest of meringue with big stapula to the mixture.
  5. Lined the baking paper n grease the side of an 8" tin.
  6. Pour in the mixture and bake 150°c for 35 min and 140°c for 25min
  7. Once baked. Remove from oven and drop the tin from 10cm high to release the hot air. Cool 10 min and remove cake fm tin. Serve when it is cool

However, using it as a cake base for celebration cake or added with fresh cream and berries to become a layer cake could change my appetite. I would feel substantial enough after eating one. So if I compare this with Ogura cake, this is contains slightly more substance, not that melt away feel when you eat an Ogura steam baked cake.
