  1. In a cooker take soaked urad Dal & raajma, add water, bay leaf, cinnamon, ginger-garlic paste, cardamom, salt & boil the Dal over 7-8 vissels on low flame.
  2. For the masala, in a pan take 3tbsp ghee, add chopped onion & cook it till brown, then add ginger-garlic paste & again cook for 5-7min, then add red chilli powder, dhania powder, & cook well for 2min, then add tomato puree & mix well, cook it for 10-12min, then add the boiled daal & mix well, add salt & let the Dal simmer for about 30min on low flame.
  3. Keep mixing occasionally, then add garam masala powder, kasuri methi & again cook it over low flame for 15min, then finally add cream & chopped coriander & serve with rice.
