3. Once garlic begins to take colour reduce heat to low to simmer, add both cans of tomatoes, break the tomatoes up with a fork
4. Add Tomato puree and salt
5. Continue to simmer sauce for 40-60 minutes
6. Boil water, add pasta to a new pot, cover well with water, boil pasta till al dente, that is, just before soft, pasta will continue to cook out upon adding sauce
7. When pasta is ready drain off and leave in pot, add the sauce off the heat. Stir and ensure sauce and pasta is covered well.
8. Serve and dribble olive oil lightly over pasta
