  4. After 20 minutes add half of the clarified butter & cook for 2 minutes on medium heat, stirring constantly.
  5. Gradually add milk powder & ensure that there are no lumps in the halwa.
  6. Add sugar & mix well. Now it would release some water
  7. Stir it on medium/high heat till the halwa dries.
  8. Add the remaining clarified butter & mix well.
  9. Stir for 2 minutes on medium/high heat.
  10. Add cardamom powder & mix well.
  11. Add nuts of your choice & serve warm.

Its very easy to prepare and cook however it takes little bit of time to cook. Gajar Halwa is made in north India only during winters.
